QUOTE THURSDAY:
Every Thursday, I will be sharing a quote that has really stuck out to me and share with you my take-away from it. I came across this quote on Instagram that said:
“Timing is up to God. But obedience is up to you”
-Rick Pino
This quote means that trusting in God's timing is essential as Christians. Sometimes as Christians, we forget that it is a process and that God is not holding us back from the blessing, but instead is molding and preparing us for that blessing. If you take matters into your own hands, you’re being disobedient which is hindering yourself from God’s blessings. God's timing is always on time. Ask yourself if there was ever a time that God came through for you and it was right at the time you needed it the most? Sometimes, God shows up when you least expect it. Just remember that whatever you are waiting for, it’s not that God isn’t going to come through for you. Think about how he is preparing you and getting you ready to receive that breakthrough. By being obedient, you are aligning and getting yourself prepared to receive that blessing. That means putting your full trust in Him and allowing Him to move; while putting you into a position to receive. You can’t say that you're trusting in God's timing while taking things into your hands. We have to be able to be in submission to God by laying everything that we are and have at His feet. Letting him take full control of your life. Once you do that, you will see that the weight of the things you were taking on that was not yours to carry will be removed from your life. God will be taking up your burden and struggles, and making them into something beautiful. In all of this, He will be glorified.
Much Love From Yours Truly,
