Let’s talk about the importance of being obedient to God, which goes for every aspect of your life. Yesterday, as I was praying for my friends, God laid it on my heart to speak life into their situations and trials by sending a message to them. At first, I questioned it because I’m the type of person who normally tells people when I pray for them. As I continued to pray, God kept impressing His will on my heart. This thought and feeling wouldn’t go away. God speaks to me in dreams, visions, and impressions. Since I felt a strong impression, I prayed and ask God to let the message He wanted me to write to be His words and not my own. I asked Him to remove flesh and take full control. After I finished writing the message, I sent it to my friends. I didn’t know the reason why God lead me to send that message. Later on, throughout the day I was getting a response from those that I sent the message to. They were saying things like “I needed to hear this”, “Thanks for the encouragement”, “that was so timely”, and much more. You see, as I was getting the response from those I sent the message to, God gave me a revelation that in everything there is a purpose. Sometimes as Christians we are afraid to act on the things that God is leading us to do because we want to know why. Sometimes, being obeiendent means acting on the faith that you know that God is in control. It goes back to the verse that says, “ For we walk by faith, not by sight” (2 Corinthians 5:7, NKJV). Walking by faith means taking the steps you need to take without knowing the result. It’s fully trusting God, that He will never lead you astray but will always direct your path. Faith means thoughts and actions that lack reason but trusting fully in what you cannot explicitly prove. To me, at first, I didn’t know the reason why, but I still acted on the guidance of what God was leading me to do. It goes back to the beginning of this year when I asked God to use me as a vessel. To be a vessel, you have to be willing to step out of your comfort zone and walk into where God leads you. I was asking myself, what if I wasn't being obedient? God would have used another vessel to send that message. But what does that gain me? Nothing, because I acted out of fear. I’d rather know that I was being obedient as opposed to acting on fear and being disobedient to the things of God. We have to remember that God will take you out of your comfort zone to mature and grow you. That’s when God tells you to take a step. Take that step in faith! Don’t let the enemy create fear and doubt. Don’t question what the result would be. As Christians, we have to get to a place where we must accept that we won’t know all the answers. As you read this, I encourage you to walk by faith, step out of your comfort zone, and let God direct your steps. Trust me, in the end, you will gain so much knowledge, understanding, wisdom, and strength in your walk with God. Don’t act out of fear, act on Faith.

Much Love From Yours Truly,
