Today was a day of reflection for me. The first day of the year of 2020. To look back on How much God’s Grace has kept me throughout the year of 2019. I had faced a lot of hardships, obstacles, & trials but through it, all God had kept me. Just to know that even though I’ve faced a hard year God still had his hand on me. He was guiding me and protecting me. Giving me amazing memories throughout the year of 2019. As I step into January 1, 2020; I tend to reflect on: What is it that I want to accomplish in the year 2020? As that question pounders in my mind; I start to create a vision board based on every word that was spoken over my life and also the things that I believe God has impressed on my heart. It was important for me to create a vision board because the Lord had laid a verse on my heart that said And the Lord answered me: “Write the vision; make it plain on tablets, so he may run who reads it. For still the vision awaits its appointed time; it hastens to the end-it will not lie.”Habakkuk 2:2-3 (ESV) My revelation of this verse was to write your goals, dreams, visions, words, and aspirations out. When you do so pray and meditate on the things you have written out; put them before the Lord. He says in His word “ For anyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened.” Matthew 7:8(ESV) That means when you write out those things that your heart desires, you're asking God to come and help you accomplish them. For we can not do things on our own. Our God is a great God that is “ Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us.” Ephesian 3:20(ESV). Once we ask and put these things before Him; we would be able to see the things that were on our vision bored come to pass if it’s according to the plan that God has set before us. I also tend to think that God wants us to take that leap of faith where we can trust him completely. Not by doing things by our agenda but letting Him guide our footsteps. But then a question remains: What can we do to accomplish our visions? When that question came to my mind I started to overthink but the answer is pretty simple. What we can do is Align ourselves to our goals? Well, aligning yourselves is by putting something on the table for God to work with. For example, God told you or impressed on your heart that you will be a Doctor. How you align yourself is by getting the education you need to get certified as a Doctor. Then after you graduate you apply for a job. We have to remember that there is always a process that has to take place to complete or reach your goal. When it comes to the process I wish I could tell you it will be easy but it's not. It takes dedication, sacrifices, and hard work to accomplish your goals but through it, all remember that it's worth it in the end. Just remember that God has a greater plan in store for You. Don’t Give Up and Keep Pressing On. Believe and Trust in His plan. For you will see amazing things that you have written come to pass this year for you!!

Much Love From Yours Truly,

Colleen 💖
